Eugene Rocco Utley
I began my film career after graduating from Clemson University, where I studied film, journalism, and media writing. Since then, I have not only written, directed, produced, numerous films, but I also founded the production company in 2024 – Exceletto Productions.
Throughout my career, I’ve been recognized across multiple facets of my craft, receiving rewards for achievements in narrative directing, writing, and editing. My most notable recognition comes from receiving Best Overall Film for my sophomore short film A.B. at the 2023 Tryon International Film Festival, presented by film producer Frank Calo.
Through a strong confidence in the vision balanced with an open mind to collaboration, I look to create spaces on-set that uplift everyone’s creative processes. Even in hardship, my mind focuses on figuring out the next steps, rather than lingering on the problem, and setting the right tone for whatever environment in which we find ourselves. Whether a producer or PA, I always bring with me a genuine and welcoming energy that speaks for itself when it comes to exemplifying my passion and care for both the project and all involved with it.
